Wow!! What a long time it has been since we have updated! Mauer David Baumgarten was welcomed into the world on September 16th, 2010 weighing in at 7 lbs 13.5 ounces and 21 inches long! He is such a beautiful and special little boy! We are so in love! He is 2 weeks old now and I will be posting some pics to help everyone see how much he has grown:) His two week check-up went well and he weighed in at 8 lbs 10 ounces, so he is packing on the weight!!! He is a very content little boy who doesn't fuss much but likes to stay up at night! Mommy and Daddy are struggling a little bit to adjust but we are making things work:) The lack of sleep is definitely worth it!!! We are so thankful also for all the support from friends and family as we start our new family:) We will post pics and updates often!!

3 1/2 WEEKS TO GO!!!!

Hello everyone!!! It has been a long time since we have updated our blog! We have been so busy preparing for our little boy to make his way into the world! We have finally finished remodeling his nursery, which I will post pictures soon!!! Mommy's feeling great, although the hot weather we had a few weeks ago was kind of miserable, but as Daddy says, "it's all worth it!" Which is very true!!! Mommy and Daddy are getting anxious to have him here!!! We look forward to our little guy's arrival and can't wait for all of you to meet him when he is here!

12 WEEKS TO GO!!!

Today was another great day! We had our 28 week check up and things are going great with Mom and baby! He is growing like a weed and will be here soon! We start going to the Dr. every two weeks now so I am thinking that time will fly by! Anyway, I just thought that I would update and let everyone know that things are going well and we can't wait to meet our beautiful little boy:) Take care and we will post more as we get closer to his arrival!!!

15 WEEKS TO GO!!!!

With 15 weeks to go until the arrival of our baby boy we are getting very anxious! He is now starting to move around like crazy and Daddy even got to feel him kick! That was very exciting!!! At our last ultrasound he was 1lb 8oz so he is growing like a weed!!! Gus, our dog for those of you who aren't familiar with him, seems to be excited as well. Hopefully he is just as excited when the baby is here:) We plan on updating this blog as often as possible to keep everyone up to date on our little bundle of joy that will be joining us before we know it!!!! We love you all!!!
